Thank you for helping raise money for SMA. Not so long ago many of these kids with Type 1 did not live past 6 months to 2 years. Getting doctors on board and having them learn you can save these kids with the right kind of respiratory care and diet has changed things so much in the last 5 or so years. Many doctors will not even research on how you can help these kids still.They just give a death sentence to many of these babies after they are diagnosed.
I have a grand-daughter that I care for that has Type 1 SMA and she will be 6 years old in a bit over a month.
Thank you for helping get awareness out there and help raise money for these beautiful kids.
