Forget-Me-Not Benefit March 19, 2010

Raising money once again for the local Alzheimer’s Association, MS Society and Band Against MS. Come out for a great night filled with not only great music, but an art show by Nashville’s own Amy Bornsteinwww.lovebyamy.com One of Amy’s paintings is the current logo for Forget-Me-Not featured above that she created for Forget-Me-Not. As always, musical guests include some of Nashville’s finest artists and songwriters. Confirmed so far are Stealing Angels, Due West, Jason Deere, Marcia Ramirez, Nathan Brumley, Whitney Layne, Steve Rutledge, and Sarah Silva. More artists will be added soon! SHOE COMPETITION

SHOE COMPETION RULES:

• Start with a ladies pump with at least a 3” heel.

• Entry must be titled.

• Artist may decorate shoe with “G-rated” theme.

• All work must be original.

• Entry fee of $5.00 made out to the Brentwood Woman’s Club
to be submitted and received by March 1st, 2010.

• Base dimensions must be no larger than 12” by 18”

JUDGING WILL BE BASED ON:
• Originality, Execution, Visually representative of Artist’s title

• Divisions: 9-12, college art student, adult (> 18)

Entry submission and fee must be in by March 1st

Winners will be announced at the Event March 9, 2010

All entries will be displayed

Superstar Brenda Lee To Host Benefit For Currey Ingram Academy

Brenda Lee will be doing a benefit fund raiser for the Currey Ingram Academy in Nashville on February 19 at 8:00 p.m.  Currey Ingram Academy is a self sustaining, private school supported by donations for the education and nurture of children with special needs.
This is a cause very near and dear to Brenda. She has been and continues to be involved, and active with the programs, teachers and administrators.  She interacts and has developed a keen rapport with the students as well.  Not only has Brenda committed to this fund raiser, she will continue to be an advocate of Currey Ingram Academy.
For those of you who would like to support her efforts, you may do so by sending a contribution.  All will be graciously accepted and no contribution will be considered too small.  Please know that because of the volume of responses, Brenda is not able to personally respond to each contributor.  She will, however, personally present all gifts to the administration of Currey Ingram Academy on behalf of her friends and fans.
Though the benefit will be held Feb. 19, there is no specific deadline.  Brenda will gratefully and proudly present the gifts given from your heart at any time.

CountryMusicIsLove is proud to announce the Inaugural CountryMusicIsLove Concert benefiting City of Hope. The intimate, acoustic show featuring Johnny Bulford, Carter Twins, Whitney Duncan, Adam Gregory, Mallary Hope, Jason Jones, Jesse Lee, Caitlin Lynn, Gwen Sebastian, and Matt Stillwell will be held at The Rutledge in downtown Nashville on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 7pm. Jon Anthony from Kenny Chesney’s “No Shoes Radio” will emcee the event!

Tickets are $15 and 100% of the proceeds will benefit City of Hope. Tickets are on sale now HERE.
