UNTITLED ARTIST GROUP PRESENTS “IN ART WE TRUST”

Sometimes all we can trust is our ART and creativity. “In Art We Trust”, Untitled Artist Group‘s Fall Show 2009, goes downtown! On Friday, September 18, 2009 from 6-10pm, trust our art to wow and entertain you in the hottest spot in Nashville, Buffalo Billiards on 2nd Avenue North in the historic district with a fabulous view of the river.

It’s time to enjoy great art, cocktails, and fascinating people in a relaxed, non-traditional environment. A wide variety of artists are participating and most of the works are for sale. Street art, traditional art, sculpture, photography, performance art… if you can dream it up, it’s probably been at one of our shows. Untitled’s uncensored and unjuried exhibits typically feature over 100 artists from around Middle Tennessee, and are free and open to the public.

Also, at the show we will have a silent auction! And what will be in the auction you may ask: cue balls! Yep, artists in the show will have a chance to paint or decorate a cue ball for the “In Art We Trust” silent auction. All of the money the silent auction brings in will continue to support Untitled’s free one night shows, individual artist grants, and more. In addition to the over one hundred artists’ works for sale in the exhibit, the silent auction will allow any visitor a chance to take home a little piece of art for a pool table or as a decoration for the office. Don’t forget to check it out when you step into Untitled’s “In Art We Trust” at Buffalo Billiards in Nashville on September 18.

We will have Music City’s favorite music man, DJ Synapse Trap, serving up a hot helping of fresh and funky grooves.

“In Art We Trust” takes place at Buffalo Billiards 154 Second Avenue North. Buffalo Billiards can accommodate private events from 5 to 500 people. They offer several rooms to choose from to not only fit your needs but your budget as well! So, everyone out there who goes out on Friday night or is looking for something to do, here you go. “In Art We Trust” will be the best art exhibit we will ever see. We guarantee you’ll fall in love with the Nashville visual arts scene.

Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30 is an event that recognizes Nashville’s young professionals and philanthropists while benefiting the CFF. Honorees were nominated by co-workers, friends and family for their dedication to their professional and charitable endeavors. The top 30 honorees were then selected by a special sub-committee of the Top 30 Under 30 planning committee during the month of June.

“We were amazed by the caliber of nominees we had this year, the first year of the event,” said 30 Under 30 co-chair, Shelby Adams. “These individuals do a wonderful job representing the Nashville community, their employers and themselves. We are pleased to have them now representing the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as well.”

The honorees will be acknowledged at the Top 30 Under 30 event at The Icon in the Gulch on Sept. 19, 2009. The event, open to the public, will highlight each honoree’s accomplishments, feature a silent auction and live auction, and celebrate the CFF’s mission of developing ways to control and one day cure cystic fibrosis.

“This first honoree class is really something and we hope the community will rally behind them by attending the Top 30 Under 30 in September. Come out and meet the present and future leaders of the Music City,” said Top 30 Under 30 co-chair Anne Elizabeth McIntosh.

Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30 will be on Sept. 19, 2009 from 6-10:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $50 or $75 for VIP entry. Tickets will be available through all honorees or by contacting Lesley McMahan at (615) 255-1167 or lmcmahan@cff.org. Visit www.nashvilletop30.org for more information.
